Helping the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers

in Mortgage Lenders

Today was a chance to catch up on some CAMB (Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers) business. You see, Reaffinity is the preferred supplier of tech services to CAMB so I got a chance to sit with the board of directors for a few minutes and discuss how they can best use our services to increase awareness of their organization. Of course I can’t say anything that was confidential but nothing like that was discussed while I was in the room so I think I’m free to say what I will.

And what I’ll say is that these folks really want to help mortgage brokers in Colorado. There were no shady dealings or discussions of the sort that people have come to suspect of people in the mortgage business. In fact, most of the mortgage brokers I know honestly want to help people and do everything they can for them. Yes I know there are bad actors in the business and consumers are rightly calling them out. But our discussions were focused on creating value for mortgage professionals and consumers alike. No monkey business.

We had a brief discussion on what direction to take and that direction will work itself out over time – you’ll see it take shape when you visit the CAMB website. What I’d really like though is to hear your thoughts on what resources would be most helpful to you if you’re a mortgage broker.

Understand that I’m approaching this as an outsider who focuses mostly on technology so your comments will shape how I approach helping CAMB. Please do leave your comments below!
